Bridge friends,
Beginning Wednesday, January 3, the Northampton Bridge Club will offer a series of 3 novice games for new players or for those who are rusty and would like to have a go at how duplicate bridge is played today. The dates are: Jan 3, Jan 10, Jan 24.
The 21-hand game will be directed by Bob Sagor in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with coffee and refreshments offered. Players will be able to get a copy of the hand records at the end, for further study with their partner, if they wish. Notifying Bob ahead of time that you plan to attend will make organization easier but is not essential.
The novice game will be held at the same time as the existing 1 pm Wednesday afternoon game held at Christ United Methodist Church on Route 66 in Northampton. There will be no fee for these January games. At the end of this series, the Bridge Club will then assess the level of interest to determine whether a novice game can be a permanent addition to the games it offers.
If you are interested but don’t have a partner, please let Bob Sagor know so that he can try to arrange one.
Why not give it a try?
Please register interest with Bob Sagor at rjsagor@gmail.com
